| I ran away to camping, because life is just too hard. I came home this evening to cook dinner for my family and wash their dishes. Life is still pretty hard. Camping is not as hard. You get to build campfires and just stare into the flames and light marshmellows on fire. You get to take the kids swimming. And, your house isn't so big to take care of. You get to burn your dishes in the fire. Your kids are so hungry after playing all day, that there are no leftovers to put away. Sometimes you might have TV, if you are at a campsite with cable, but when your husband is not there, you can disallow the children to turn it on. People are friendly at camping, they all wave and smile, and drive their cars real slow to observe the "children at play" signs. At camping, you can still do school work. At camping, your phone doesn't ring much and the mailman can't find you there. So, I'm going back to camping tomorrow. |
